Danco petition dismissed and denied

Petroleum News Alaska Staff

A petition by Danco Inc. in Alaska Superior Court for review of the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission order denying integration of leases into the North Cook Inlet unit was partially dismissed and partially denied March 1.

The court said: “To the extent that this matter is an appeal of an agency decision, the appeal is dismissed, without prejudice to any party’s right to appeal from the agency’s final appealable decision.”

Danco requested a rehearing of the commission’s decision and petitioned the court for review of the original decision before the commission completed its review of the rehearing request. The court also said: “To the extent that this matter is a petition for review of an agency decision, the petition is denied.”
