PND, a multidisciplinary engineering firm founded in Anchorage in 1979, now features five professionally licensed geotechnical engineers. A dynamic consulting firm with more than 100 full-time employees across nine nationwide offices, including three locations in Alaska, PND maintains a staff of professionally licensed engineers and land surveyors who comprise over half of our workforce.
Cameron Klatt, PE Born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska, Cameron Klatt moved Outside to receive his higher education. The South Anchorage High School graduate received his bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Montana State University and his master's degree in geotechnical engineering from the University of Washington. He received another prestigious piece of paper in January 2024: his professional civil engineering license in the state of Alaska.
The accomplishment comes with a new title, as well. PND is proud to announce the promotion of Klatt to senior engineer and extends its congratulations for passing the Principles and Practice of Engineering, PE, exam.
Cameron, who was hired at PND in October 2020, credits his erudition as the defining moment in his nascent career to date. "UW's geotechnical curriculum paired with the very active geotechnical community of Seattle has had a lasting impact on my career," Klatt said.
Klatt has been involved in various projects at PND over the last four years, ranging from waterfront facilities in Southeast Alaska and the Lower 48 to oil- and gas-related projects on the North Slope, which has provided "a challenging and fulfilling work environment," he said.
