Early bird individual registration is now open for the Resource Development Council's 45th Annual Alaska Resources Conference on Nov. 13-14 at the Dena'ina Center in Anchorage, the association said in an Oct. 17 press release.

The announcement described it as "Alaska's largest and most established forum on our state's resource industries."

Those resources are listed on the registration page in the following order: tourism, fisheries, oil and gas, mining and forestry.

Prior years' conferences have attracted approximately 800 attendees; this year the group anticipates an even larger turnout.

The keynote speaker for Nov. 13 will be Ernest Scheyder, author of "The War Below: Lithium, Copper, and the Global Battle to Power Our Lives."

Following his presentation, Scheyder will autograph copies of "The War Below" courtesy of NANA Regional Corp.

Sponsorship and exhibitor opportunities for the conference are still available, but exhibitor booths are selling fast.

Sponsorship dollars stay in Alaska. RDC puts them to work for its members to influence and shape state and federal public policy, encourage investment in Alaska, and grow the economy through responsible resource development.
