Oil patch bits: North Slope Telecom invites customers to Iridium workshop

North Slope Telecom Inc. said recently that it is inviting customers to attend the Iridium Satellite workshop and reception on March 19 from 3-6 p.m. at the Fireweed Conference Center at 725 East Fireweed Lane, Anchorage, Alaska 99503.
Hosted by Iridium, the workshop will cover data-driven operations and digital transformation on the North Slope and will highlight breakthroughs in satellite communications and data connectivity unique for early-stage exploration projects. The workshop will also cover numerous Iridium solutions including Iridium push-to-talk and its new Certus broadband services which provide robust data connectivity throughout the world, and Iridium’s new L-Band network, providing easily-deployable solutions that are rugged, reliable, and key to safety on the North Slope.
