The Baker Hughes' U.S. rotary drilling rig count was 586 the week ending Oct. 11, up by one from 585 the previous week, and down by 36 from 622 a year ago, after dropping two rigs the previous week. Over the last eight weeks the rig count was down in six weeks and up in two with equal gains and loss....
